Suicide Squad Adds Social Media Pages & Website Alongside Release of Footage.

Suicide Squad now has an official Facebook, Twitter, and webpage. Since the SDCC footage was leaked online Warner Bros reluctantly released the footage officially and needed the platforms to push it to the masses.

Here is Warner Bros offical statement:
"Warner Bros. Pictures and our anti-piracy team have worked tirelessly over the last 48 hours to contain the Suicide Squad footage that was pirated from Hall H on Saturday. We have been unable to achieve that goal. Today we will release the same footage that has been illegally circulating on the web, in the form it was created and high quality with which it was intended to be enjoyed. We regret this decision as it was our intention to keep the footage as a unique experience for the Comic Con crowd, but we cannot continue to allow the film to be represented by the poor quality of the pirated footage stolen from our presentation."
- Sue Kroll, President Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures

New Batman v Superman Trailer

Words can not do this justice, enjoy:

"The Killing Joke" Getting Animated

At the 2015 San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC) Warner Bros. revealed that three DC Universe Original Movies will be released in 2016, including an adaptation of the classic Joker story,  Batman: The Killing Joke.
Batman: The Killing Joke is the seminal graphic novel written by Alan Moore (Watchmen) and drawn by Brian Bolland (Judge Dredd) that offers up a potential origin for the Joker, and that led to a paralyzed Barbara Gordon to retire as Batgirl…albeit temporarily. For years, it’s been one of the most regularly requested animated films by fans.

The animated adaptation of Batman: The Killing Joke is executive produced by Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animates Series) and will retell this classic tale in an exciting new way. It’ll also feature an original 15-minute prologue that helps set up the story, giving even longtime fans of the story something new to look forward to.
In addition, two other animated movies were announced:

Batman: Bad Blood—An original Batman story that features the introduction of Batwoman to the new line of animated films.

Justice League vs. Titans—Another original story and the first of the DC Universe Original Movies to feature the Teen Titans.

The release of Batman: The Killing Joke seems rather fitting as it’s the Joker’s 75th Anniversary this year.

SDCC Star Wars: The Force Awakens Behind the Scenes Video Offically Released

I'll let the video speak for itself:

Groovy "Ash vs Evil Dead" Trailer Released

Check out the trailer of the Starz series Ash vs Evil Dead:

The trailer shows the welcome return of Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, who as he states could use some much needed cardio to keep up with the Deadites in this day in age. Cardio aside Ash seems to be perfectly capable of taking on Deadites, demons, and the occasionally possessed doll in what looks to be a great show. Ash vs Evil Dead arrives Halloween night October 31, 2015. Groovy!

"Minions" Look To Keep Universal Dominating Box Office

Universal Studios has shown to be a force to reckon with this year at the domestic and worldwide box office. With not one but two huge releases, Universal Studios has earned box office gold. First it was Furious 7 that ran the box office table in April when it raced its way through box office records to make it the 3rd highest grossing movie of all time behind only James Cameron's films Titanic and Avatar respectively. It also set the record for reaching $1B the fastest in just 17 furious days that would soon be beaten by Universal's next release, Jurassic World.

Jurassic World accomplished the feat of $1B in thirteen days, four days faster Furious 7, and has had incredible staying power by dominating the box office all four weeks in its release. Not even Disney/Pixar's Inside Out could slay the beast of Jurassic World. With the release of Minions, the spinoff film about the loveable gibberish speaking sidekicks that were featured in the Despicable Me animated features, Universal looks like it will do it again.

Minions is tracking to take a three-day gross in upwards of $120M, having already taken in $46M in little over a day of being released. If the numbers stay on coarse it would make it the No. 2 highest grossing animated opener of all time, behind only Shrek The Third which grabbed $121.6M in 2007. Minions would be taking the #2 spot currently belonging to Toy Story 3 which saw $110.3M in 2010. Not only would it capture that coveted spot, but it would make it biggest opener in the Despicable Me franchise.
