Marvel Press Release:
With the first season of "Marvel's Daredevil" proving a smash success with both audiences and critics, Netflix and Marvel will continue to create further adventures of the Man Without Fear! Doug Petrie ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer," "American Horror Story") and Marco Ramirez ("Sons of Anarchy"), who worked closely with Executive Producers Steven S. DeKnight and Drew Goddard during the first season, will serve as showrunners for Season 2. Petrie, Ramirez, Goddard ("Cabin in the Woods"), and Jeph Loeb ("Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.") will serve as Executive Producers of Season 2.
“While previous commitments unfortunately prevent me from continuing on with Daredevil into its second season," DeKnight explains, "I could not be happier that Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez are carrying the torch. They were invaluable collaborators during our first season, and I for one can't wait to see what they do with the show moving forward."
New Full House Series Coming to Netflix
It’s now official, Full House will return as a 13-episode sequel series on Netflix in 2016, the streaming service confirmed. John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the popular family sitcom, broke the news Monday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The new series will be called Fuller House, this time around the series will focus on Candace Cameron Bure’s character, D.J.
Tanner, who is a recently widowed (similar to her father in the parent series, no pun intended) pregnant veterinarian with two sons. Jodie Sweetin returns as her
younger sister and aspiring musician(akin to Uncle Jesse) Stephanie Tanner and her childhood best friend, Kimmy Gibbler, (Andrea Barber), along
with Gibbler’s feisty teenage daughter Ramona, move in to help D.J.
raise her two sons the rebellious 12-year-old J.D. and neurotic 7-year-old
Max and soon-to-arrive baby. Basically the new show is the next generation of he same show. All of the fixtures of the original series is here, the widowed main character (Danny in original, D.J. in the new), the musician (then Uncle Jesse, now Aunt Stephanie), the comedian (then Joey, now Kimmy) and the three kids in which they raise with Kimmy's daughter thrown in to act as the new Gibbler.
Stamos
is set to produce the show and reprise his role as a guest
star. Discussions are on-going with original Full House stars Bob Saget, Mary-Kate
and Ashley Olsen, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin regarding guest
appearances in the new show according to the Netflix
release. Fuller
House comes from Miller-Boyett Productions and Jeff Franklin
Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television for Netflix

Arrow's Colton Haynes Teases Roy Harper's Return on Twitter
In spite of having departed CW's Arrow as a series regular following last Wednesday's episode, actor Colton Haynes took to Twitter this weekend to thank his fans and tease "Roy Harper will see you soon."
Colton Haynes had been portraying Roy Harper or Arsenal, Arrow's trusted sidekick up until last Wednesday night's episode of Arrow, since season one. We know that Colton's Roy Harper will return for at least one episode this season, for the May 6 episode, “This Is Your Sword,” to wrap up some unfinished business.
“The thing we felt we owed the audience more than anything was some closure with Thea because [of] the circumstances under which Thea is in,” executive producer Marc Guggenheim said of Wednesday’s installment. “Certainly we owed the audience some closure for this three season-long love story between these two characters. Beyond that it is implied that he could be open for him to return in sort of guest star capacity. With two DC Comic shows currently in production a d third in the works on the CW there is plenty of screen time for Colton Haynes to occupy as Roy Harper. Here's hoping we haven't seen the last of Roy Harper anytime soon.
Updates On DC's Cinematic Universe(DCCU): New Pic Of Affleck's Bat Suit, Suicide Quad Cameo Details
So last night was the "special" IMAX screenings of the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser trailer. So what made the event so "special" ? Fans who attended the event were given the option to choose one of the IMAX exclusive posters for the film(essentially choosing a side) and were each given a voucher to watch the film a week before its official release date of March 25th. Apparently the trailer screened during the IMAX theater is ultimately the same one that was released already on the web and that can be scene in front of new features theatrically, with an additional 5 seconds of footage exclusive to the IMAX event tacked on at the end and an introduction by director Zack Snyder. The bonus five seconds is added to the final scene of the trailer, which now shows the two angry DC Comics titans running at each other and before they can collide in fisticuffs the logo is revealed. The trailer was played twice for attendees. Following the event, Warner Bros. Pictures and director Zack Snyder released a new photo revealing Ben Affleck’s full Batman costume in detail via Twitter. You can check out the batsuit below:
In related DCCU news, Latino Review has posted an bit of an update on David Ayer's Suicide Squad film, sharing details of Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje's appearance as Killer Croc. According to them, his appearance in the film is nothing more than a extended cameo in which he'll be deformed and in heavy makeup. Killer Croc is said to be the leader of a prison gang in Belle Reve Penitentiary and shares a scene with Will Smith’s character of Deadshot that will reportedly factor into "the big set piece at the end of the film." Suicide Squad also stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, as well as Scott Eastwood, Jim Parrack, Adam Beach and Ike Barinholtz. The supervillain film is slated to hit cinemas August 5th, 2016.

Check out a new television spot from retailer Target that features Thor, Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk and Ultron action figures battling it out in the parking lot of one of their stores. Noticeably missing are any female Avengers like The Scarlet Witch or Black Widow, which is a bummer since I have a daughter that loves superheroes.

10 Things You Might Have Missed in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer
In this is article I will point out few things that you might have missed while watching the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice Trailer, ten things to be exact.
1. The voice over track of various arguments against Superman which include Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, respected scientist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Holly Hunter's senator character to name a few is very much in line with the news reports in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns in which they show the public's negative opinion of Batman. In this case, the roles appear to be reversed for the film.
2. The opening shot of the trailer of the statue is reminiscent of The Funeral For A Friend issue of The Adventures of Superman #499, were it shows a memorial statue for Superman on the front cover also the position of the statue mimics that of the pose of Superman on the front cover of the following issue, The Adventures of Superman #500. Coincidence or foreshadowing? Also to note ironically the tag line on #500 reads "The Man Of Steel Fights For His Life"(both are picture below with the shot from the trailer).
3. Again back to the comics, for the the shot showing a figure reaching to the heavens for a savior (Superman) is similar to the cover of The Adventures of Superman #500.
4. Is this Batman surveying the damage of the events of Man of Steel or new destruction?
5. What is Bruce Wayne staring at with such emotion? Is it Robin's suit? Is he remembering his fallen companion? Is that Robin's suit behind him or is it another variation of the Bat Suit or somebody else entirely? Or as the trailer would have you believe it's his suit.
6. This scene is very reminiscent to the final fight in The Dark Knight Returns in which we already know to be heavily influencing the film.
7. Is that a "cult of Superman believers" that wear his shield on their shoulders? Superman is underground, is this to mirror the end of The Dark Knight Returns where Batman faked his death to operate underground and in the shadows with his followers? Or is this scene merely a hallucination brought on by the effects of some sort of form of krypton-nite, similar to when General Zod showed the destruction of earth at his hands to Superman while he was still under the effects of the Krypton atmosphere(remember Superman drowning in skulls in Man of Steel, pictured below)?
8. Speaking of drowning in skulls was that foreshadowing in Man of Steel that let to this scene of skull painted faces of a crowd surrounding The Man of Steel.
9. Is Superman carrying a rocket merely saving the day or saving Corto Maltese such like the subplot in The Dark Knight Returns? Even the writing on the Missile/Rocket appears to be Russian much like in the Frank Miller storyline.
10. Lastly, is this merely an easter egg of the Riddler's logo or again foreshadowing? In The Dark Knight Returns there are several villains, could this be one of them in the film?
Below is a video rundown of the article.
I hope you enjoyed this run down. If there are things I missed, please let me know in the comment section below.
